Utorrent Has Crashed A Crash Dump Fix ((BETTER))

I know, I know this has been asked before, but it seems to be, unfortunately, a separate problem every single time. Most topics posted here point at incompatibility as the culprit, but in my case nothing has been changed or installed when utorrent started to crash after less than 20 min after starting. In any case can someone help me identify potential candidates from a HJT and PE logs below? I'd really appreciate it as utorrent just can't be used at all in my computer at the moment.

Well, I think I was right all along. It's now official, no matter how mysterious it may sound - the torrent I've mentioned in my previous post IS the reason my uTorrent crashes. I know this for a fact because I just used a different (very different) machine with a completely different drive trying to download it, and the same damn thing happened - uTorrent dutifully crashed, giving me the notorious 'uTorrent has crashed. Unable to generate crash dump' message.

And as to a specific torrent possibly causing problems - that proved to be not true since I tried downloading something entirely different in content (but similar in size!), and uTorrent crashed again...

Just after I posted, my uTorrent crashed again. That's it, I'm at loss. Zone Alarm has been shut down for hours, and all this time uTorrent has been downloading one large component out of total of 3 of similar size (27-40 Gb) and was doing fine. What changed? I changed the other two files from 'skip' to 'high priority' to download them as well. uTorrent just vanished withough any messages. It did, however, leave a dump file which I'm posting below. Please, if anyone can tell me from it what the hell's going on with my client, I'd really appreciate it:

DreadWingKnight, it's been only shut down. I restarted uTorrent right after it crashed, but this time I allowed only one out of three files to download, skipping the other two. It's morning now, and the file in question has finished downloading without uTorrent crashing at all. So, I changed 'skip' to 'normal' on the second file; let's see it it downloads as well during today.

this problem started showing up about a month after i installed it and since then i have uninstalled and reinstalled half a dozen times. the error message i get is "utorrent has crashed. unable to generate crash dump". im running vista biz 64-bit SP1

Whenever a computer running Windows suddenly reboots without displaying any notice or blue or black screen of death, the first thing that is often thought about is a hardware failure. In reality, crashes are often caused by malfunctioning device drivers and kernel modules. In case of a kernel error, computers running Windows do not show a blue or black screen unless they are configured to do so. Instead these systems suddenly reboot without any notice. WhoCrashed shows the drivers that have been crashing your computer with a single click. In most cases it can pinpoint the offending drivers that have been causing misery on your computer system in the past. It does post-mortem crashdump analysis and presents all gathered information in a comprehensible way. In case your system has been crashing because of a hardware failure, WhoCrashed will provide you with guidance to trace the root cause of the problem. Normally, debugging skills and a set of debugging tools are required to do post-mortem crash dump analysis. Using WhoCrashed you do not need any debugging skills to be able to find out what drivers are causing trouble to your computer.

It is suggested that you run WhoCrashed. WhoCrashed will analyze the crash dump files available on your computer and create a conclusion. It will inform you about responsible drivers and offer suggestions on how to proceed.

If your computer unexpectedly reset or shut down, it is suggested that you run WhoCrashed. WhoCrashed will tell you if crash dumps are enabled on your computer, if not it will offer you suggestions on how to enable them.

For some of those events (panic, NMI) the kernel will react automatically and trigger the crash dump mechanism through kexec. In other situations a manual intervention is required in order to capture the memory. Whenever one of the above events occurs, it is important to find out the root cause in order to prevent it from happening again. The cause can be determined by inspecting the copied memory contents.

If a reboot has not been done since installation of the linux-crashdump package, a reboot will be required in order to activate the crashkernel= boot parameter. Upon reboot, kdump-tools will be enabled and active.

To confirm that the kernel dump mechanism is enabled, there are a few things to verify. First, confirm that the crashkernel boot parameter is present (note: The following line has been split into two to fit the format of this document:

1 Warning!!! When you remove the old Bittorrent folder from App Data, all of the your past history will go with that folder. So your new install will be like starting over from scratch. Once its installed you might try switching out the new Bittorrent folder for the one in quarantine as an experiment...IF you want to get your old history back. I've never tried any of this, but it seems like it would work. If it doesn't...then you can always leave the quarantined folder back in the APP Data folder and do another install and go back into crashed status and try an think up another solution.

When uTorrent crashes, it generates DMP (dump) files, just like the Windows OS itself. These files aren't displayed in plain text and contain code strings for debugging purposes. The developers of uTorrent have an official process for reporting crashes, which aids them in development of future versions of uTorrent and helps standardise the troubleshooting process. The official process is dependent on several diagnostic programs.

I've been struggling with these rather odd and entirely random Blue Screen crashes on my server. I had a hardware upgrade last month and ever sicne then there has been an endless torrent of issues. I have managed to remove a lot of them, 2 errors were due to 2 dead HDD's and another down to a broken Raid card but i still have a Blue screen which is caused by a system "Bug Check", every time a bug check runs it seems to kill the machine and each time for a different reason, from 0x01a to 0x04b and a few others. I have a selection of memory dumps from these which i am trying to understand but memory dumps are a new thing to me and I am fairly sure that i am missing most of the constructive information here.

My computer has been crashing nightly (Blue Screen of Death) for over a week now. Bluescreenview shows the dump file as NTOSKrnl.exe as the culprit. I have traced it to when the scheduled scans start in Malwarebytes Premium as the only thing that is starting at the same time as the crash. I have no other scheduled tasks running at that time. I ran through the directions to gather all the info you need to review.

STEP 2When the issue occurs, do you have a VPN or any other network filtering software enabled (besides Malwarebytes)?Does this issue consistently present itself when Web Protection is enabled?Does the issue occur when you are not using Bittorent, qBittorrent, or any other P2P torrent software? We're in need of additional information to help narrow down the cause of this issue.Part of this process will involve manually triggering a crash to obtain a memory dump, which will hopefully show what the Web Protection driver is doing to cause this issue. You can read more about this process here.

Once you've reproduced the issue and are actively experiencing it, force a crash by pressing the following keys at the same time: Left Ctrl+Left Alt+U+U.After the machine has rebooted, you should find a memory dump named MEMORY.dmp in C:\Windows. Please zip this up and provide it to us.

Happens randomly during a mission, sometimes almost immediately, sometimes up to 10-15 minutes into it. I have not been able to finish a single mission. The game also crashed once during the holodeck tutorial and I have not been able to watch the cutscene that plays after the tutorial since the game would crash every time.

\tCrash dump test: In addition to analyzing your crash dump files, the software can also cause an intentional crash (BSoD), so you can test if your PC is generating the crash dumps without any issues. Don't be alarmed that the app will randomly crash your computer, however; the developers have put up many disclaimers on the option's screen and even make you type the word \"ACCEPT\" prior to initiating the crash.

There are times when your application crashes without returning an OutOfMemoryError message, making it more challenging to diagnose memory leaks as the problem and make corrections. The good news is that you can check the fatal log error or the crash dump to see what went wrong. 350c69d7ab
